It’s the biggest night of the movie calendar as Hollywood’s brightest stars will get dressed up in all manner of finery and converge on the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles for the Oscars 2017. The Academy Awards honour the movie world’s biggest achievements over the last 12 months and, this year, Damien Chazelle‘s Tinseltown musical La La Land is the runaway favourite for just about every award.
Although Chazelle’s film is the favourite, it faces some stiff competition from the likes of coming of age drama Moonlight, grief-stricken tale Manchester by the Sea and uplifting space race tale Hidden Figures.
