We’re now just a couple of days away from the DVD and Blu-ray release of divisive blockbuster behemoth Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which hits UK shops on April 9. One of the features on the disc is new, feature-length documentary The Director and the Jedi, which follows Rian Johnson throughout the process of making the movie, from the writing stage to the very end of the lengthy shooting schedule. The film traces his relationships with the likes of Mark Hamill and the late Carrie Fisher, as well as the problems they all faced along the way.
I got the chance to go to a special screening of The Director and the Jedi in London last night and I thought I’d record a video giving my views on the documentary. Please have a watch and leave your opinions in the comments section, whether you’re a Last Jedi fan, or one of its many detractors.
