It’s another special interview edition of the podcast this week, as I chat to Jonathan Ali, who is one of the head programmers of the East End Film Festival. In full swing right now, the festival is screening dozens of movies at venues across the East End of London, highlighting the best of British independent cinema, as well as films from all over the world.
I chatted to Jonathan about his involvement in the East End Film Festival, their partnership with the Films For Food programme, the best films he has seen since the screenings started and the ones he is excited to see in the next week or so as proceedings keep moving. To find out more about the East End Film Festival, take a look at their website and be sure to head along to the screenings between now and April 29.
